SDK v0.9 & Qiskit Toolkit 0.1.8 Now Live!

We’re excited to announce the release of Quantum Rings SDK version 0.9, along with the Quantum Rings Toolkit for Qiskit version 0.1.8, bringing compatibility with Qiskit 1.3, support for qiskit-optimization and qiskit-machine-learning, and brand-new documentation with examples to streamline your quantum computing projects.

Support for Qiskit 1.3

Quantum computing evolves rapidly, and Qiskit is no exception. To keep you at the forefront, this update ensures full compatibility with Qiskit 1.3, so you can leverage all the latest innovations in the Qiskit ecosystem.

Important Recommendation:

Due to the fast-paced development of Qiskit and occasional breaking changes, we recommend always installing dependencies using version numbers. This approach ensures stability for your development environment and gives you the flexibility to decide when to adopt updates.

Example:

pip install 'qiskit[visualization]==1.3'

New Library Support

This release also introduces compatibility with two advanced Qiskit libraries:

  • qiskit-optimization: Solve complex optimization problems at scale. (see Qiskit Optimization Tutorials)
  • qiskit-machine-learning: Build and refine quantum-powered machine learning models. (see Qiskit Machine Learning Tutorials) With this, you can seamlessly integrate Quantum Rings into a broader range of Qiskit-based projects.

We’ve expanded our documentation to include all published examples from both qiskit-optimization and qiskit-machine-learning, showing how to perform each of these with the Quantum Rings SDK.
