Frequently Asked Questions

Quantum 101 is free for everyone, and local simulation is free for non-commercial use (learning and research). Open Quantum also gives you $50 of Spark Credits every 90 days at no cost.
Today you can use everything à la carte: free local simulation for non-commercial use (or a commercial license on request), and pay-as-you-go Open Quantum credits for real QPU time. The Starter, Pro, and Enterprise subscription bundles are launching soon — join a waitlist and we will let you know.
Starter ($20/user/month) adds unlimited commercial local simulation and a monthly allotment of Spark Credits for QPU time. Pro ($100/user/month) includes everything in Starter plus a larger monthly allotment of Full Credits — which also unlock Open Quantum Private Compute — higher usage limits, and priority support.
They are Open Quantum’s two credit types. Spark Credits are the free/entry tier for Public Compute; Full Credits are purchased, last a year, and work with both Public and Private Compute. Starter includes Spark Credits; Pro includes Full Credits. See the Open Quantum pricing page for the details.
Pay-as-you-go: $50 of Spark Credits free every 90 days, then buy Spark or Full Credits and top up as needed. Pricing is per-task plus per-shot, at about half the cost of going direct.
