Quantum Rings Now Available for NVIDIA CUDA-Q, Streamlining Quantum Simulation

San Jose, CA – February 20, 2025— Quantum Rings today announced the integration of their quantum simulation technology with NVIDIA CUDA-Q, delivering GPU-accelerated quantum circuit simulation to researchers, developers, and enterprises worldwide. This integration brings together Quantum Rings’ industry-leading quantum circuit simulation technology with NVIDIA’s leadership in accelerated computing, enabling users to execute large-scale, highly complex quantum circuits faster than ever before.

CUDA-Q users can now easily access Quantum Rings’ high-performance quantum circuit simulation, leveraging NVIDIA accelerated computing to execute increasingly large quantum circuits with significantly reduced simulation times.  Developers and researchers can test and refine quantum algorithms on consumer-grade GPUs for rapid iteration or scale seamlessly to high-performance computing (HPC) clusters for more advanced workloads.

"Advancing the application of quantum computing requires faster, more cost-effective iteration and experimentation," said Bob Wold, CEO of Quantum Rings. "With Quantum Rings, now available through CUDA-Q, developers can simulate and refine larger and more complex quantum algorithms at unprecedented speed using GPUs—pushing the limits of quantum research further in preparation for larger-scale fault-tolerant quantum hardware.”

CUDA-Q is NVIDIA’s open-source quantum-classical computing platform, designed to bridge the gap between quantum and classical computing. By including Quantum Rings as a standard simulator, NVIDIA is expanding access to high-performance quantum computing tools, helping researchers and enterprises develop, validate, and scale quantum applications faster and more cost-effectively.

"The role of simulations in quantum computing is only going to increase as we move into the era of large scale, error corrected systems.”, said Sam Stanwyck, Group Product Manager for quantum computing at NVIDIA. “Quantum Rings integration with the NVIDIA CUDA-Q platform helps bring accelerated simulations to an even wider range of users and challenges”
