Quantum Rings and AQT Partner to Bring the IBEX Q1 Trapped-Ion Quantum Computer to Open Quantum Platform

(Boulder, Colorado) – Quantum Rings, a leader in developer tools for quantum computing, and AQT (Alpine Quantum Technologies, Innsbruck, Austria), a leading European provider of trapped-ion quantum computers, today announced a partnership to make AQT's IBEX Q1 quantum computer available on Quantum Rings' Open Quantum platform. Through this collaboration, users worldwide gain direct access to AQT's latest trapped-ion technology through an easy-to-use API, significantly lowering the barrier to real-world quantum experimentation.

The integration expands Open Quantum's mission to provide open, vendor-agnostic access to leading quantum hardware. By enabling developers, researchers, and students to work across multiple quantum systems through a single interface, the platform supports faster experimentation, easier benchmarking, and more portable quantum workflows.
