Last week, Quantum Rings CEO Bob Wold was honored to return to Chicago to attend the CQE Quantum Standards Workshop and speak at the Duality Alumni Quantum Panel.
Hosted by incredible partners including the Duality Accelerator, the Chicago Quantum Exchange, the ASCET Center of Excellence, Protiviti, and Cresa, these events brought together an impressive group of leaders from across the quantum ecosystem — including IBM, IonQ, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), JPMorgan Chase & Co., qBraid, Nationwide, memQ, and many more.
Back Where It Started
Chicago holds a special place in the Quantum Rings story. We joined the Duality Quantum Accelerator's Cohort 4, and returning as an alumni panelist alongside other companies that have grown out of the ecosystem was a full-circle moment. Bob also had the chance to meet the newest cohort of Duality companies and visit Hyde Park Labs, the hub of Chicago's rapidly growing quantum corridor.
Standards, Commercialization, and Collaboration
The events centered on the future of quantum standards, commercialization, and collaboration across industry, academia, and government. It was energizing to be in a room with so many forward-thinking organizations all working toward advancing quantum technologies — and a reminder of how much the ecosystem accelerates when its members work together.
A huge thank-you to the organizers and everyone involved for creating such a valuable space for discussion and connection. We're excited to continue building in this space and contributing to what's ahead.
